I couldn't resist....

After mourning the loss of the Theory pants, I was in a vulnerable state so I couldn't help myself when these merlot Rag & Bone skinny jeans rolled in work. I mean they're pretty great...and merlot, which is a colour I've come to appreciate a lot lately after purchasing this sweater (and yes, I'm aware it's a men's sweater but I really don't care).  This is how I am justifying this purchase:


1. Needed a distraction to get my mind off the Theory pants
2. I don't have any pants in that colour AND I wanna rock M-on-M (merlot-on-merlot)
3. They are sooooooooooo insanely comfortable. Like leggings minus the awkward 90's throwback

Well I've seen better days at Zara when I ventured there recently, I did manage to find myself these boots. Black ankle boots with a side buckle and - because I'm a full-fledged adult now and thus care about this - a STURDY HEEL. Which means I can wear them at work all day at work and not be walking with a limp at the end of the day.

My friend suggested to me that I should call my blog See She Buys and She Justifies, as, like I said in my "About Me", I can defend any purchase. So how did I justify these boots? By the fact that most of the cost was covered by my HST reimbursement cheque. Thanks B.C. government!
